Cat says its new MD6200 rotary blasthole drill is its most transportable model yet, packing a lot of versatility into a a small package. Designed to perform rotary or DTH drilling in single- or multi-pass modes, the MD6200 is powered by a C18 engine. AEM launches ConExpo Connect research tool for contractors buying equipment

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has launched CONEXPO Connect, a website designed to help contractors interested in buying construction and aggregate equipment. The platform provides contractors with access to new products, equipment experts and industry connections, according to Nicole Hallada, AEM vice president of marketing and communications. “CONEXPO Connect brings a new dimension to the industry by giving contractors access to equipment experts and manufacturers similar to what they would have at ConExpo-Con/Agg, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year,” Hallada says. Brokk demo robots with TEI rock drills designed to replace handheld tools in tight spaces

Brokk and TEI Rock Drills have teamed up to create a drill attachment for Brokk’s demolition robots to ease operator fatigue and bring heavy-duty power to cramped spaces that typically require handheld tools. The TE160 drill works with the Brokk 110 and Brokk 170 robots and is designed for concrete demolition, mining and tunneling applications. Brokk says the attachment eliminates the operator fatigue that comes from heavy handheld tools. Allmand Bros. expands Neb. facility

Allmand Bros., a manufacturer of portable jobsite equipment, is expanding its facility in Holdrege, Nebraska, to increase production capacity and speed-to-market with new products. The company is a subsidiary of Briggs & Stratton. Aquajet’s Aqua Spine Aquajet Systems has developed the Aqua Spine to bring high-pressure water jets to concrete demolition jobs in tight, small spaces. “It allows operators to remove concrete in areas that have previously been inaccessible in a safe and efficient manner,” says Roger Simonsson, Aquajet Systems managing director. Talbert’s 60CC/55SA-LD trailer Talbert’s 60CC/55SA-LD lowboy trailer can be configured in a variety of ways to help operators meet differing state regulations. The trailer can be operated as a spread-axle configuration with a 55-ton capacity or a closed-coupled configuration with a 60-ton capacity.
